The University of Colorado Art Museum erwirbt „Moon Child“ von Delita Martin

Werk aus Bentlage wird in den U.S.A. ausgestellt

Während ihres zweiwöchigen Aufenthalts in Bentlage in 2019 hat Delita Martin die Serie „Moon Child“ geschaffen, die nun auch internationales Interesse geweckt hat. The University of Colorado Art Museum teilte kürzlich mit, das Werk erworben zu haben:

»Galerie Myrtis is pleased to announce the acquisition of „Moon Child“ by Delita Martin. The print was created during Martin’s 2019 residency at the Print Association Bentlage in Rheine, Germany. The University of Colorado Art Museum provides a forum for exchanging ideas, inspiring collaboration and fueling imagination through art. The museum’s growing collection and diverse exhibitions and public programs promote, inspire and generate interdisciplinary scholarship and cultural expression. CU Art Museum mobilizes our strengths to support and enrich the academic and social missions of CU Boulder and to serve our communities in Boulder, statewide and beyond. Delita Martin
Delita Martin was born in Conroe, Texas in 1972. She is currently based in Huffman, Texas. Martin received her BFA in drawing from Texas Southern University and MFA in printmaking from Purdue University. Formally a member of the fine arts faculty at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Martin is currently working as a full-time artist in her studio.
