Anne Rynearson

U.S.A., 2021
John-Mark Schlink and Anne Rynearson (Minnesota, USA) participated in the Print Association artist residency in July 2017. Our daughter, Sophia accompanied us on our trip (she was 13 at the time). We worked for three weeks in the printmaking facilities, developing screen prints that incorporated digital images and techniques. Knut Willich was a gracious host during our stay and offered helpful technical advice in the studio as well as entertaining conversation and information about Rheine and the history of the Print Association.

Our work was presented in a public exhibition at the Print Studio and included in the Print Association’s collection. We very much enjoyed the facilities and staff at Kloster Bentlage, while exploring the buildings and grounds. The proximity of Rheine to other major cities such as Berlin provided us with the opportunity to travel during our residency and visit museums, etc. Finally, the setting was ideal and conducive to creative activities. We feel grateful to have had the opportunity to stay and work at Kloster Bentlage.
